A material driven project focused on the properties of concrete. This design drew inspiration from concrete building foundations. The ventilated table top emphasizes the solid concrete base, producing one static structure. Utilizing the weight of the concrete base allows for juxtaposition and asymmetry between the two materials, creating dynamism.
